From Textile Waste to Timeless Utility: The Story of Our New Upcycled Textiles Hanger
In our continuous pursuit of conscious living and mindful design, we’re proud to introduce the WOH Upcycled Textiles Hanger — a garment hanger made not from new resources, but from what’s often overlooked: textile waste.
This hanger isn’t about perfection. It’s about character. It’s for those who appreciate materials with a story, surfaces that speak, and forms that stand for something. It’s for interior spaces that aim to inspire — not just decorate.
Beauty in the Imperfect
Unlike our classic felt hangers, the Upcycled Textiles Hanger has a slightly more rugged texture, a visible reminder of the varied materials it’s made of. Think automotive textiles, fashion off-cuts, home interior scraps — all reborn into a single product. That’s what gives it its unique, always-changing shade and surface.
These hangers are best suited for outerwear and utility garments, and shine in spaces like office wardrobes, boutiques, or brand displays where heavier garments hang and stories matter.
Why Upcycled?
Because we believe waste is not the end — it’s the beginning of something new. By choosing upcycled materials, we reduce the use of virgin resources, minimize environmental impact, and explore a new aesthetic that embraces variation and tells the story of circularity.
In upcycling, the value of the original material isn’t lost — it’s elevated. That’s the kind of future we want to hang our coats on.
What It’s Made Of
Each hanger is composed of:
50% recycled polyester textiles
25% recycled polypropylene textiles
25% bico fiber (used for thermal bonding)
The upcycling process takes place in Germany, while the final hangers are crafted in Estonia. The result is a hanger with a low ecological footprint and a high design value — available as a made-to-order item through WOH.
